87cm pipe-backed blade with spear point by Prosser, Manufacturer to the King, Charing Cross, London, etched on each side with a panel containing a crowned stand of arms incorporating GR cypher and centred by the EIC lion, and another containing a crossed sword and baton within a laurel wreath, regulation copper gothic hilt incorporating crossed sword and baton, wire bound fish skin covered grip, in its steel scabbard, two suspension rings.
