87.5cm unfullered blade by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, numbered 12741 for 1863, etched with scrolls, crowned VR cypher and crossed sword and baton, owner's crest and initials, regulation brass gothic hilt incorporating crossed sword and baton, wire bound fish skin covered grip, in its brass scabbard, two suspension rings.
