87cm blade by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co, Solingen and stamped with various ordnance marks at the forte, regulation steel hilt with Maltese cross piercing, two piece chequered riveted leather grips, in its steel scabbard with fixed opposed suspension rings and stamped Y over L & B for the Lothians and Border Yeomanry.
