98cm blade by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London numbered 22590 for 1878, etched with foliage, crowned VR cypher and regimental initials, regulation steel hilt pierced and applied in brass with scrolls, studs and crowned regimental cypher, chequered brass pommel,wire bound fish skin covered grip, in its steel scabbard with brass mounts, two suspension rings, complete with its crimson faced buff leather liner.
