96cm blade by Hamburger Rogers & Co, King St. Covent Garden, London with hatchet point, etched with foliage, crowned VR cypher, regimental cypher, and Peninsula and Waterloo battle honours, regulation steel hilt pierced and applied in brass with scrolls, studs and crowned regimental cypher, wire bound fish skin covered grip, in its steel scabbard with brass mounts, two suspension rings, complete with sword knot of leather and wire strap and bullion tassel.
