88.5cm unfullered and double edged blade by Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London, numbered 37821 for 1900, etched with scrolls crowned ERVII cypher and Royal Arms, and within a panel the owner's initial's B.D.M. 16th Q.L., regulation steel scroll hilt, wire bound fish skin grip, in its field service scabbard.
