A Good 1845 Pattern Infantry Officer's Presentation Sword
82cm blade by Robt Mole & Son Makers Birmm etched, blued and gilt for its entire length with scrolling foliage, stands of arms, regimental badge and title of the VIIth Royal Fusiliers and battle honours to Sevastopol, owner's crest and presentation inscription, gilt gothic hilt incorporating the Royal Cypher, the bars cast with foliage and ropework,folding inner guard, wire bound fish skin grip, in its leather scabbard with ornate gilt mounts embossed with a stand of arms and foliage, the locket also engraved with recipient's arms, crest and motto, two suspension rings.
