86cm blade by Pillin, Maker, London, etched with scrolling foliage, crowned VR cypher, recipient's crest and presentation inscription, white metal hilt boldly cast pierced and chased with scrolling foliage and a union spray, wire bound fish skin covered grip, in its white metal scabbard, the mounts deeply cast with scrolling foliage upon a hammered ground, two suspension rings.
