79cm unfullered blade with clipped back point by Rogers & Co, King St., Covent Gardn, London, etched with foliage, and a crown over the regimental title King's XVth Hussars, gilt mounted hilt with cross guard cast with foliage and terminating in foliate buds, two-piece ivory grips, in its fish skin covered wood scabbard sheathed in gilt metal engraved with stylised leaves and with three open work panels on either side, the suspension mounts cast with foliage, two suspension rings.
