80.5cm unfullered blade with clipped back point by Harman & Co, Calcutta etched with scrolls, foliage, a stand of arms and crowned VRI cypher, ornate gilt mounted hilt, the crossguard cast with foliage against a stippled ground, pommel cap embossed with foliage, one-piece ivory grip, in its ornate gilt scabbard embossed overall with scrolls and foliage against a stippled ground, two suspension rings.
