84.5cm unfullered blade with clipped back point, brightly etched against a matt ground with foliate scrolls, the crowned cypher of Madhavrao II Sindhia and a crossed sword and baton, gilt mounted hilt, the crossguard cast with foliage, the ecusson on one side embossed with a coiled cobra and on the reverse with a crossed sword and baton, two-piece ivory grips, in its steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
