80.5cm unfullered blade with clipped back point, brightly etched against a matt ground with scrolling foliage and a crown over VR cypher, gilt mounted hilt, the crossguard cast with scrolling foliage, the ecusson applied on each side with a silver rose, two-piece ivory grips, in its plated scabbard engraved with later presentation inscription, two suspension rings, complete with sword knot of silver and crimson cord and acorn.
