80.5cm unfullered blade with clipped back point by Thorpe & Co, Bombay, brightly etched against a matt ground with scrolls, foliage, crowned VR cypher and crossed sword and baton, regulation brass mounted hilt with two-piece ivory grips, in its brass scabbard with two suspension rings, complete with sword knot of gold cord and acorn.
