80.5cm unfullered blade with clipped back point by J. Daniels & Co, Artillery Place, Woolwich, brightly etched against a matt ground with scrolls, foliage, crowned GRV cypher and crossed sword and baton, regulation gilt mounted hilt with two-piece ivory grips (one cracked), in its plated scabbard with two suspension rings.
