Extremely fine Victorian examples, the straps of dark green velvet embroidered with gold thistle pattern lace and three crossed arrows. Within the gold bullion crescents a raised oval in gold and silver thread 'Queen's Bodyguard Royal Archers', in the centre a thistle spray. The gld bullions of broad gauge. Lined with green moroccan and green quilted silk. Contained in an unlined carrying tin, the epaulettes in mint state (3)
