'Queen's Body Guard Royal Archers', Full Dress Epaulettes
Extremely fine Victorian examples, the straps of dark green velvet embroidered with gold thistle pattern lace and three crossed arrows. Within the gold bullion crescents a raised oval in gold and silver thread 'Queen's Bodyguard Royal Archers', in the centre a thistle spray. The gold bullions of broad gauge. Lined with green moroccan and green quilted silk. Contained in a velvet lined carrying tin (hasp missing), the epaulettes in near mint state (3)
