The first with 63cm curved blade, brass one-piece hilt with lion's head pommel, ribbed brass grip, the inside quillon stamped NYV and 2, in its leather scabbard with engraved brass mounts, two suspension rings, the locket with frog button, the second with 69cm blade, brass one-piece hilt with lion's head pommel and ribbed grip, in its lacquered steel scabbard with copper mounts, the locket with frog stud and engraved R. E. I. V. and 1 over 5. (2)
