82.5cm blade by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, numbered 15521 for 1867 etched with scrolling foliage, crowned VR cypher, winged thunderbolts unit title and owner's name R. Franklin Moore, regulation brass hilt pierced with foliage, wire bound fish skin covered grip, in its leather covered brass scabbard, two suspension rings.
