30.5cm blade double edged towards the point by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, etched with thistles, an Elephant above Assaye and a further twenty eight battle honours in scrolls to Tel-El-Kebir and crowned regimental badge and title, carved wood basket weave hilt, decorated with white metal studs, white metal mounts, the pommel embossed with a crown, in its leather covered wood scabbard with white metal mount embossed with thistles.
