82.5cm single fullered blade by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, numbered 43450 for 1912, etched with thistles, regimental title and flaming grenade, the figure of St Andrew and owner's initials C.E.G., steel hilt, the crossguard with additional side bar, pieced flattened oviform pommel, wire bound fish skin covered grip, in its plated steel scabbard, two suspension rings.
