A 17th century Persian silver gilt pendant/amulet
Of octagonal form with two suspension loops, the centre drawing out to reveal a small compartment with hinged lid, the body pierced to both sides with delicate floral interlace, the edges engraved with two bands of lozenge motifs, diameter 2.5cm.
