the mahogany cross banded oak case with swan neck pediment over turned pillars, the long trunk door flanked by reeded pilasters over a plinth base, the 13 1/2 inch signed Roman break arch dial painted with a tiger hunting scene to the arch and flowers to the quadrant, the dial centre with subsidiary seconds, calendar dials and mock winding squares, the weight driven movement with knot pillars and outside countwheel strike on a bell, 218cm (7ft 2 inches)
