A Chinese embroidered robe, 19th century
Of orange silk satin, worked with eight roundels featuring flowers and butterflies, above crashing waves, mountains and a lishui hem, edged with butterfly and floral embroidered navy silk satin bands and deep embroidered cuffs finished with horseshoe cuffs, lined with blue damask silk; together with a Japanese black crepe kimono.
