87.5cm blade with various ordnance stamps at the forte, regulation steel hilt pierced with scrolls and 'HC' beneath a Victorian crown, wire bound fish skin grip, in its steel scabbard with fixed and loose suspension rings, stamped 1 LG, for the 1st Life Guards.
