A 1912 Pattern Royal Horse Guards Officer's Sword
89cm blade by Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London numbered 44702 for 1914, etched with scrolls, crowned Royal Arms over GRV cypher, and owner's initials J.F.H., regulation plated steel bowl guard embossed with crowned regimental cypher, wire bound fish skin grip, in its plated steel scabbard with two suspension rings and complete with buff leather sword knot.

  • The sword of John Fendwick Harrison. He joined The Royal Horse Guards in 1905, served in WWI as Captain and was Mentioned in Dispatches 15/05/1917. He is listed in 1924 as a Major, Reserves, and died October 1966.
