95cm blade by Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London, numbered 36370 for 1899, etched with scrolls, crowned VR cypher, regimental badge, battle honours to Tel-el-Kebir and owner's initials R.G.V.D. within a panel, hilt with steel bowl guard covered overall with leather, wire bound fish skin grip, in its field service scabbard.
