99cm blade by Henry Wilkinson numbered 28788 for 1888, etched with scrolls, crowned VR cypher, and regimental badge and motto, and five battle honours to Tel-el-Kebir, regulation steel hilt pierced and applied in brass with scrolls, studs and crowned regimental cypher, wire bound fish skin grip, in its steel scabbard with two brass suspension mounts and steel shoe.
