The Life Guards, a Trooper's Full Dress Tunic, Breast and Back Plates, Pouch Belt and Pouch
The modern scarlet cloth tunic by 'Kashket & Partners Ltd.', the blue facings are embellished with gold lace and similar laced skirt panels, QEC anodised aluminium buttons by 'Firmin, London'. Gold orris cord shoulder boards and aiguilettes, broad white blancoed leather pouch belt complete with narrow red flask cord. The black plastic pouch is mounted with a QEC gilt metal Royal Arms badge. Plated breast and back plates with brass trim and studs are leather lined with a black woollen trim (dated 1972). Earlier and better quality leather lined brass shoulder straps. Two brass studs are missing on the back plate. (6)
