A State Trumpeter's Full Dress Coat & Hat
The coat of EVIIR period, the ground of red velvet with facings of blue velvet, subsequently embellished with vast amounts of gold lace and gimp. The breast and back panels further decorated with St. Edward's crown over EVIIR's cypher, these in gold lace and coloured silks. Lined throughout in blue woollen cloth. The blue velvet peaked cap is dated 1963 and retailed by 'Everitt W Vero & Co. Ltd. London'.
