2nd County of London Imperial Yeomanry (Westminster Dragoons) Trooper's Helmet c1902-1914
A good quality 1871 pattern example, the white metal skull with brass trim and similar fittings. The elongated star pattern frontal plate with white metal and brass overlays. These comprise the crown over the Garter motto, side scrolls, '2nd County of London', 'IY' below and a '2' in the centre. Rose pattern side ornaments, brass chin chain lined with purple coloured leather. Stout leather sweatband. Complete with the post 1910 white horse hair plume.
