A Georgian Officer's Sabre
74cm blade double edged towards the point and etched against a gilt ground with foliage, stands of arms, and a lion, copper gilt stirrup hilt, embossed ferrule, wire bound leather covered grip, in its leather scabbard with engraved gilt mounts, two suspensions rings and retaining the leather suspension mounts with gilt buckles cast with lion masks, complete with its sword knot with crimson and gold strap and tassel.
