91.5cm straight unfullered blade by Hamburger & Rogers & Co, 30 King St. Covent Garden London, etched with scrolls, a Crown over RE for Royal Engineers, and owner's crest and motto, engraved with an incremental scale for the first twelve inches from the tip, and thereafter on the back edge to thirty six inches, steel hilt without backpiece, honeysuckle guard, patent solid tang, wire bound fish skin grips, in its steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
