86cm double fullered broadsword blade by J.B. Johnstone, Sackville St, London and Dublin, etched with scrolls, thistles, crowned Royal Cypher, the figure of St Andrew, and regimental badge and title, regulation steel hilt, pierced and engraved with thistles, wire bound fish skin grip, original buff leather liner, and later tassel, in its steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
