A mid Victorian mahogany chest of drawers
the rounded rectangular top above two short and three long graduated drawers raised on bracket feet, 117cm wide.

  • The chest of drawers is said to have been bought in 1973 from an Antique shop in Bury, Lancs, and the vendor was told that it came from Sir John Barbirolli's (conductor of the Halle orchestra) house on the edge of Manchester.
