A Lady, standing in a landscape besides an urn, wearing white dress with gold trim to her décolleté, wide blue sash and matching ribbon at her sleeves and cuffs, gold pendent earrings, her blonde wig worn à la conseilleur and dressed with a wreath of flowers, she holds the stem of a flower in her right hand.
Gilt-mounted within gold frame, the reverse glazed to reveal blonde hair tied with gilt-wire and split seed pearls, curled in a heart shape surrounding a heart shaped blue glass plaque with border and monogram CEB of seed pearls, all set on opalescent glass; together with a portrait miniature of a Lady, wearing white dress, her fair hair plaited, upswept and tied in a knot at the back of her head (French School, circa 1890), gold frame, the border to the obverse engraved Si tu cesses de m'aimer souviens-toi que je t'aime (If you stop loving me remember that I love you), the reverse glazed to reveal black fabric.
