Now netted, framed and doubly glazed. The white silk ground was subsequently painted with various regimental emblems. All that now remain are short sections of the honours, 'Peninsula' and 'Waterloo',
black on gold, three of the decorated ovals, two showing small Union sprays in red purple and green on a red round, and the other the White Horse of Hanover on red with a narrow green 'ground'. A small
portion only of the central green Union wreath. Originally 92 x 61 cm.
