Victorian & Edwardian British and Colonial Badges, a Collection Assembled and Framed c1913
An extraordinary collection all massed and displayed upon a gold lace lined blue velvet shield shaped design. This in turn is set within an attractive wool-work panel, subsequently framed and glazed. A wide selection of badges include shako plates, glengarries, cavalry NCO's arm badges, caps, collars, s/titles and sweetheart brooches. The former comprise an 1855 pattern example to the West London Rifles (1859-1861), and a c1861 style example to the 13th Madras Infantry.
