A very fine scarce example, the gilt back plate with silver mounts and K/C over a strap 'Lanarkshire Yeomanry' within the strap a double headed eagle from the arms of Perth, to the sides thistle sprays, and at the base a scroll 'South Africa 1900-02', provision for sewing to the lance cap.
