A late 19th century French brass desk timepiece
The drum case surmounted by a swing handle over a glazed aperture displaying the cylinder platform escapement, the 3.5 inch painted Roman dial with moon hands; together with a 19th century French ebonised mantel clock with carved dolphin supports, 3.5 inch enamel Roman dial and outside countwheel strike on a bell. 13cm (5in) and 22.5cm (8.75in) respectively
