The case with flat topped hood over a long door, the signed silvered 6.25 inch Roman dial with outer quarter-hour track and set to the edge with 48 steel pins which are depressed via a pivotted brass lever mounted on the frontplate of the substantial movement with rectangular plates united by four knopped pillars, with anchor escapement 1.82m (5ft 11.5ins) high.
