The stepped caddy top surmounted by a stirrup-shaped handle on a central knop over a brass band and brass-lined glazed side apertures to a plinth base and turned brass feet, the 4 inch one-piece silvered Roman dial signed in the arch over blued steel moon hands, the signed single fusee movement with four tapering pillars, and anchor escapement 30cms (12ins) high.
