Jewelled frosted gilt finished 3/4 plate English lever movement, cut and compensated bi-metallic balance, Bosley style regulation, Breguet overcoil spring, white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, black outer minute track with Arabic numerals at five minute divisions, gilt spade hands and blued steel centre seconds, polished round hinged case with blue enamel chapter to front, monogram engraving to case back, 18ct gold cuvette, together with associated pouch, case stamped 'J.H.&Co' for John Hargreaves & Company, dial and movement signed
