Jewelled gilt 3/4 plate English lever movement, cut and compensated bi-metallic balance, Bosley style regulation, white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, black outer minute track and 1/5th second divisions with Roman numerals at five second increments, gilt spade hands and blued steel centre seconds, polished round hinged case with start/stop slide in the band between 1 and 2, 18ct gold cuvette with personal dedication, case stamped 'J.H.&Co' for John Hargreaves & Company, dial and movement signed 55mm.
