Dieppe, early 19th century,
Europeans versus the Moors, stained faded pink and red, European king and as monarchs and consorts, Moorish king and queen wearing turbans, European bishops wearing tri-corn hats, Moorish bishops in uniform, knights as horsemen, rooks as raised turrets, European pawns in uniform as infantry, Moorish pawns in tribal dress with earrings,
the king 8.7cm high, the pawn 5.7cm high.
