a turned boxwood and ebony disc chess set, each disc with a printed insert depicting the various chessmen, in the original wooden box with a sliding lid and printed trade label: John Burgess & Son's Reversible Chess...A useful invention...This set of men can be played either for chess or drafts, merely by reversing the sides,
each disc 3.5cm in diameter, the box 16.5cm long.
