- Identical thrones can be seen throughout the film and are featured in the scenes in Kind Edwards chamber. The thrones were originally commissioned and used in the 1990 production of Hamlet, with Mel Gibson and Helena Bonham-Carter. Amendments were made to the chairs so that they could be used in Braveheart.
