the five-rotor version, with the rotors missing, qwerty keyboard below number drum windows and folding message board with sliding reading guide, double paper tape drum printer unit with the first for recording read text and the second for the character-matched gobbledegook, four-place position counter, battery bay and main operator's handle to right-hand side, in black crackle-finished metal panel case with lifting handles, fitting within black rexine carrying case, interior of lid with pull-down flap for paper tape storage, holding seven unused tapes each stamped with war department crown, oiling instructions and operating sheets pasted onto lid -
