with longue-marche single-spring motor, the 17-key organ section flanking the twin combs, drum, castanet and nine-bell accompaniment-select, the bells arranged on tri-tier buffet rack each engraved in the Rococo taste, plain ball brass strikers, on mat cast gilt bedplate within ebonised interior, pierced and cloth-backed soundhole beneath dustlid with the frame bearing inlay with further pierced work decoration, in very imposing burr-walnut veneered canted-corner casket case, the slight-domed lid with quarter bookmatched veneers and double kingwood crossbanded frames, repeated to front and sides, the corners with further veneers, on large moulded and stepped ebonised plinth base with intermediate kingwood stripe detail, gilt ormolu side carrying handles - 32in. (81.5cm) wide, the cylinder 16.1/4in. (41.2cm)
