Bruguier 1-2-3-2-3-4 sequence, monogrammed signature beside main ratchet, the bird with layered feathered plumage in hues of lime green, dark red, electric blue and turquoise, good predominant iridescent highlights in green and orange, moving bone beak, head, wings, tailfeather and body to the sequential birdsong, rising through finely pierced and chased gilt grille, lid interior highly polished for full bird reflection, lid top with south-aspect painted enamel study of Swiss hamlet with tall spire from the centre of the lakeside dwellings behind trees, a lone sailing boat on the water with green banks to furthest shore and snow-capped mountains beyond, diamond-dot engraved frame, in modest rectangular case with raised tooled border, each panel with cats-eye and quature-wave line incised ground, repeated in full to underside, with a key - 3.3/4in. (9.5cm) wide
