with three animated figures, the cobbler under lean-to roofed stall with shoe formers and leather holding hammer, a seated lady within large half-barrel sewing lace and cloth and a standing man offering her flowers, painted backdrop of a high stone wall, cobbled street, when actuated, the reconstructed six-cam drive making cobbler hammering and head turning, the lady sewing and head nodding, the standing man raising the flowers to her nose and nodding also, in oval ebonised base with start/stop to the left-hand side, (no dome or key)
